Privacy Policy (Personal Information Protection Policy)
1. Policy on Handling Personal Information
G・O・P Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the "Company") respects the privacy of each customer and exercises the utmost care in its operations.
The Company recognizes the appropriate protection and use of personal information as an important social responsibility. In conducting its business, the Company complies with applicable laws and regulations, including the Act on the Protection of Personal Information, as well as its internal rules, including this Privacy Policy (hereinafter referred to as the "Policy"), and strives to appropriately protect and use customers' personal information.

Specification and Public Disclosure of Purpose of Use
The Company shall specify, to the extent possible, the purposes for which customers' personal information is used and shall disclose such purposes in advance. -
Use Within the Scope of Purpose
The Company shall handle customers' personal information only within the scope necessary to achieve the specified and publicly disclosed purposes of use. However, in cases falling under each item of Article 16, Paragraph 3 of the Act on the Protection of Personal Information, the Company may handle customers' personal information beyond that scope. -
Retention Period
Unless otherwise required by law, the Company shall set a retention period for customers' personal information within the scope necessary for the purpose of use, and shall promptly delete such personal information after the retention period has elapsed or once the purpose of use has been achieved. -
Security Management
The Company shall strive to keep customers' personal information accurate and up to date and shall thoroughly implement necessary and appropriate security management measures to protect it against unauthorized access, alteration, leakage, loss, and damage. -
Supervision of Employees
The Company shall provide necessary and appropriate guidance and supervision to its employees in order to ensure the secure management of customers' personal information. The Company shall also conduct the education and training necessary to enable employees to properly handle personal information. -
Supervision of Contractors
The Company may outsource all or part of the handling of customers' personal information to third parties within the scope of the purpose of use. In such cases, the Company shall exercise necessary and appropriate supervision over the contractors, including by incorporating provisions concerning audits of personal information handling into the relevant contracts. -
Provision to Third Parties
Except as otherwise provided in each item of Article 23, Paragraph 1 and Paragraph 2 of the Act on the Protection of Personal Information or by other laws and regulations, the Company shall not provide customers' personal information to third parties without obtaining the consent of the customer or other relevant person. However, the Company may entrust information, within the scope necessary for the purpose of use, to other business operators to whom it outsources operations pursuant to Article 23, Paragraph 4, Item 1 of the Act on the Protection of Personal Information, as follows:- (1) When disclosure or provision is made, to the extent necessary in connection with the Service, to outsourced service providers that have concluded agreements with the Company concerning the protection of personal information
- (2) When it is necessary to confirm and exchange personal information with financial institutions or similar entities to the extent required for settlement in connection with use of the Service or orders for products
- (3) When the Company determines that it is appropriate for an inquiry from a customer to be answered by an affiliated company or agent of the Company

Requests for Disclosure, etc.
If a customer wishes to receive notice of the purpose of use of personal information, disclosure of personal information, correction, addition or deletion, suspension of use, or suspension of provision to third parties, please make such a request in accordance with the procedures prescribed by the Company. -
Complaint Handling
The Company shall respond promptly and appropriately to complaints and other inquiries from customers regarding the handling of personal information. Contact information for complaints and other inquiries shall be posted on the Company's designated website. -
Response in the Event of Leakage
In the event of a leakage or similar incident involving customers' personal information, the Company shall respond promptly and appropriately, including by quickly notifying the affected customer or other relevant persons of the relevant facts. -
Continuous Improvement
The Company shall continuously improve the handling of personal information within the Company through the development of internal rules, employee education, and the implementation of internal audits relating to personal information protection.
2. Acquisition of Personal Information
When using the Service, the Company asks customers to provide personal information at the time of user registration.
The Company also automatically receives and records on its servers information such as customers' IP addresses, cookie information, and pages viewed by customers from the customers' browsers. However, the Company does not collect personally identifiable information from such data.
3. Purpose of Use of Personal Information
The Company shall handle the personal information registered in connection with the services provided by the Company (hereinafter referred to as the "Service") within the scope of the following purposes of use:
- For purposes of use for which the customer has given consent.
- To disclose and use personal information in a form that cannot identify the individual, such as statistical materials, as reference data for analyzing usage status in the Service and improving content and services.
- For a series of operational tasks required in providing the Service, including personal authentication, application processing, cancellation procedures, and work related to changes, additions, or discontinuation of the Service.
- To deliver information or printed materials related to services of the same kind as the Service from the Company, based on requests or purchases made by the customer, by mail, fax, e-mail, or any other method, including the delivery or provision of samples, trial products, presents, and similar items.
- To conduct advertising, promotion, and various events and benefits concerning products of the Company or third parties such as the Company's business partners, or services of the same kind as the Service, and to provide related information and other communications by telephone, mail, fax, e-mail, or any other method, including the delivery or provision of samples and trial products.
- For any other purpose for which the Company seeks the customer's consent regarding the use of personal information.

About Cookies
1. What Are Cookies?
- Cookies are a mechanism for storing, as files on a customer's computer, usage history, input contents, and similar information exchanged between the browser and the server when the customer uses a web page. The next time the same page is accessed, the operator of the page can use the cookie information to customize the display for each customer. If the customer's browser settings allow the sending and receiving of cookies, the website can acquire cookies from the user's browser. For privacy protection, the customer's browser sends only cookies transmitted to and from the server of that website.
2. Cookie Settings
- (1) Customers can choose settings regarding the sending and receiving of cookies from options such as "Allow all cookies," "Reject all cookies," or "Notify the user when a cookie is received." The method for changing such settings differs depending on the browser. Please check your browser's Help menu for information on how to configure cookie settings.
- (2) Please note that if you choose to reject all cookies, you may be restricted in using various services on the internet, such as being unable to receive services that require authentication.
3. Purposes and Scope of Cookie Use
The Company uses cookies for the following purposes:
- (1) To enable the provision of customized services for each customer by referring to the customer's stored registration information when the customer logs in to authentication services
- (2) To display the most appropriate advertisements on third-party websites based on the content in which the customer is interested and the customer's usage status of the Service
- (3) To research the number of users of the Service and traffic
- (4) To improve the Service
- (5) To maintain security by prompting customers who have not used the Service for a certain period of time to re-enter their password (re-authenticate)
The Company may also store and refer to the Company's cookies through third parties to whom the Company entrusts the delivery of the Company's advertisements.

Each service of G・O・P Co., Ltd. uses advertising distribution and similar services provided by external operators.
